The terms and
conditions outlined below must be strictly adhered to and
are there to protect both us the operator and you the
customer.
- All
bookings must be paid for in full before any booking can
be confirmed. No guarantees are given as to availability
and delivery / collection times until monies are
received as cleared funds. Payment may be made by
cheque, bank transfer ( BACS ) or Credit / Debit card
via PayPal. Payment via PayPal may incur an additional
charge of 5% to cover fees and is not a
recommended method of payment. See
www.paypal.co.uk for T&C relating to PayPal
transactions. Cash on delivery is an option available by
prior arrangement only. A charge will be made for
dishonoured cheques at our banks prevailing rate.
- We
will honour any quote we provide for 14 days subject to
the facts we are supplied being accurate. Failure to
disclose relevant facts may incur additional charging
for waiting times, vehicle condition and accessibility.
All vehicles must be accessible, able to roll with
minimum of effort and be structurally sound and fit for
travel without risk to others from loose or damaged
panels and parts. We must be advised of vehicle
condition prior to collection and are happy to
accommodate most scenarios with notice. Waiting time
beyond reasonable loading and unloading activity is
chargeable at £ 25 per hour or part thereof after this
time.
-
We are
happy to recover vehicles from isolated or hard to
access locations with notice. If the vehicle requires
pushing or manoeuvring then there must be someone
present to assist, direct etc. Our drivers are not
expected to carry out such duties alone and if a vehicle
cannot be collected in such circumstances no refunds
will be given. We do appreciate that a vehicle can't
always be left in a suitable loading place prior to us
arriving, but do ask that sufficient people are present
to assist to avoid the risk of damage or injury
occurring.
- It is
the responsibility of the customer to ensure that their
vehicle does not and will not leak any fluids during
transportation beyond a typical amount as is expected
with some older vehicles. Whilst this can potentially be
harmful to our environment it can also cause damage to
our transporting vehicle or trailer. Cleaning of our
vehicles in extreme circumstances will incur an
additional charge of £25.
- With
regard to damage caused during transit, we will only be
held responsible for damage caused by US during
unloading or loading or anything else caused as a direct
result of our actions. Damage caused by outside forces
such as loose chippings on a road surface can not be
covered. This does not apply to any road accident where
there is no question as to the cause of the damage
sustained.
- Where
a collection delivery time is agreed, there must be
someone at each location to despatch and accept the
vehicle unless prior notice is given and arrangements
made to accommodate collection or delivery. As with
unreasonable loading and unloading times any waiting
time in excess of one hour will be charged at £25 per
hour or part thereof unless we are notified of any
possible delays such as customs clearance etc.
- Whilst
we aim to arrive at the designated times, we can not be
held responsible for circumstances out of our control,
traffic jams etc. However we will endeavour to keep all
parties involved fully informed of any delays by phone,
along with revised times.
- We
cannot be held responsible for any loss of income or
other factors not outlined here.
Thank you
for taking the time to read this and we hope it makes itself
clear, if you have any queries, please
